Ronaldo lashes out at paparazzo

LISBON: Cristiano Ronaldo kicked a papa­­­razzo’s car in Lisbon last weekend following a car chase after acting to defend his mother, the Real Madrid winger was quoted as saying on Wednesday.

“He (the photographer) chased me by car from the Ritz Hotel with my mother in the car with me, and they filmed all our actions.

“The chase so perturbed my mother that I had to stop and convince them to leave us,” Ronaldo said on the website of Gestifute, the agency that represents the Portugal player.

Gestifute said Ronaldo lashed out because the paparazzo refused to leave him alone.

Media reports said Ronaldo’s kick broke the car window, which caused minor injuries to a 17-year-old woman who has filed a complaint with the police.

A spokesperson for Lisbon police declined to comment.

Ronaldo completed his £80mil world record transfer to Real from Man­­chester United last week. — Reuters

Real mampu atasi Barcelona

KEHADIRAN Kaka di Santiago Bernebeu memberi kelebihan baru kepada kelab Real Madrid.

LONDON - Kaka yakin Real Madrid sedang membentuk sebuah skuad yang mampu menyingkirkan Barcelona pada perebutan kejuaraan Liga Sepanyol musim depan.

Bintang Brazil itu telah diumumkan secara rasmi sebagai pemain pertama yang tiba dalam era baru skuad The galacticos itu kelmarin.

Selain Kaka yang dibeli dengan harga £62 juta (RM463.2 juta), projek baru presiden Florentino Perez itu turut menyaksikan pembelian rekod baru dunia, £80 juta (RM461.1 juta) ke atas Cristiano Ronaldo, £30 juta (RM172.8 juta) ke atas Karim Benzima dan £13 juta (RM74.9 juta) ke atas pertahanan Valencia, Raul Albiol.

Manakala pemain bintang lain seperti Franck Ribery, David Villa dan Xabi Alonso terus dikaitkan oleh media dengan perpindahan ke kelab gergasi Sepanyol itu.

Ketika ditanya sama ada Real mampu memberi cabaran kepada Barca musim depan, Kaka berkata: "Ya, itulah projek yang Florentino Perez rancangkan kepada kami iaitu menewaskan Barcelona musim depan.

"Mereka memang layak memenangi kejuaraan treble, namun Real akan menjadi satu pasukan yang kuat musim depan di Eropah dan juga Sepanyol."

Lyon jual Benzema RM173 juta

LYON - Lyon akhirnya bersetuju melepaskan penyerang Perancis, Karim Benzema ke Real Madrid dengan harga £30 juta (RM173 juta).

Benzema akan menandatangani kontrak selama enam tahun dengan gaji sekitar £100,000 (RM576,056) seminggu. Harga perpindahan pula dinaikkan kepada £35.2 juta (RM202.8 juta) berserta dengan bonus berdasarkan prestasi semasa.

Real turut mengesahkan perjanjian itu telah dicapai sambil menambah Benzema akan menjalani ujian perubatan sedikit masa lagi.

"Lyon menerima keputusan Karim Benzema dan telah berbincang tentang syarat-syarat perpindahan yang memuaskan hati kedua belah pihak," kata kenyataan Lyon.

"Kelab ini mengucapkan selamat berjaya kepada Karim bersama Real Madrid."

Kelab gergasi Sepanyol itu berdepan persaingan sengit daripada Manchester United untuk mendapatkan Benzema, 21, yang dianggap antara pemain muda paling menyerlah di Eropah.

Philippine prisoners dance Thriller in Jackson tribute

CEBU, Philippines (Reuters) - Filipino jail inmates who rose to Internet fame two years ago with their exercise regime featuring "Thriller" donned their dancing shoes once more on Saturday to pay tribute to Michael Jackson.

Local and foreign tourists from Australia, England, South Korea, and Japan flocked to the provincial jail in the central Philippine province of Cebu, a known holiday destination due to its balmy beaches, to witness the two-hour show and honour the pop icon.

"It's only fitting that it happens today and that we're able to celebrate him in death as in life," said Australian expatriate Carol Ann Macdonald.

In saffron uniforms and zombie make-up, the prisoners strutted and glided to "Thriller", knowing the steps by heart thanks to their monthly dancing exercises.

They added interpretations of other Jackson hits such as "I'll Be There", "We Are The World", and "Ben", which they choreographed overnight.

"I was affected by his death, because he was the one who gave us inspiration in prison. He made us famous," said 36-year-old Crisanto Niere, in jail for drug trafficking. He danced and led the rest of the dancers just like Jackson in the "Thriller" number.

The prisoners' "Thriller" dance, originally part of a physical fitness and stress-relief regime formed in 2007, became an instant You Tube hit attracting 23.4 million hits. It has been played on several television and cable networks. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ha7VwGJDsrk),

"I was so sad when I found out that our biggest idol, Michael Jackson, had died. All of us here really idolise him. We will miss his dance moves, especially his moonwalk," said 19-year-old Igan Torrecampo, jailed for murder.

"The inmates consider Michael Jackson as a god here. If not for Michael Jackson, they wouldn't have this international recognition," said Byron Garcia, a prison security consultant.

Inmates dressed as nuns raised their arms as the rest swayed to the music of "I'll Be There", whose message of hope resonates with the prisoners, jail officials said.

Faced with prison terms of at least 20 years for crimes such as murder, drug trafficking and robbery, inmates numbering more than 1,500 find that dancing to uplifting music such as Jackson's improves their lifestyle.

Jackson died of cardiac arrest on Friday at his Los Angeles home.

Yes, firefox is already pretty damn fast but did you know that you can tweak it and improve the speed even more?

But these settings are optimized for broadband connections - I mean with as much concurrent requests we’re going to open up with pipelining… lol… you’d better have a big connection.

Double Click on the following settins and put in the numbers below - for the true / false booleans - they’ll change when you double click.

One more thing… Right-click somewhere on that screen and add a NEW -> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0”. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. Since you’re broadband - it shouldn’t have to wait.

Now you should notice you’re loading pages MUCH faster now!

Change Your Ip In Less Then 1 Minute

1. Click on "Start" in the bottom left hand corner of screen
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type in "command" and hit ok

You should now be at an MSDOS prompt screen.

4. Type "ipconfig /release" just like that, and hit "enter"
5. Type "exit" and leave the prompt
6. Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" on your desktop.
7. Click on "properties"

You should now be on a screen with something titled "Local Area Connection", or something close to that, and, if you have a network hooked up, all of your other networks.

8. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and click "properties"
9. Double-click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab
10. Click on "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab
11. Create an IP address (It doesn't matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2 until i fill the area up).
12. Press "Tab" and it should automatically fill in the "Subnet Mask" section with default numbers.
13. Hit the "Ok" button here
14. Hit the "Ok" button again

You should now be back to the "Local Area Connection" screen.

15. Right-click back on "Local Area Connection" and go to properties again.
16. Go back to the "TCP/IP" settings
17. This time, select "Obtain an IP address automatically"

19. Hit "Ok" again
20. You now have a new IP address

With a little practice, you can easily get this process down to 15 seconds.

P.S:
This only changes your dynamic IP address, not your ISP/IP address. If you plan on hacking a website with this trick be extremely careful, because if they try a little, they can trace it back

Burn .bin file Without A .cue file

To burn a bin file, you will need an appropriate cue file.

You do exactly the same as for iso files, but when you click on “burn image,” you don’t browse to the bin itself, but instead to the cue file, and you open that one.
When the writer starts to burn, it will automatically search for the bin file and start burning it. In fact, the cue file tells the burning program where it can find the bin file that is attached to it. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you use the right cue file when you burn a bin. i.e both cue and bin files that are attached to each other must be located in the same folder, and every bin file has it’s own cue file.

Normally, when you download a bin file, you can download the appropriate cue file as well. If you do not have the cue file (or feel bold) you can make the cue file yourself, which is really easy to do:

a. Open notepad

b. Copy the folowing text into notepad:

FILE“nameofimage“BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

Where nameofimage.bin is the name of the bin file you want ot burn.

c. The rest is easy: just save the notepad text with the name of the bin, but with the cue extension.

d. The file should be saved in the same folder as its appropriate bin file and should be something like myfile.cue

Or you can use Alcohol 120% to burn directly from the bin file
